Challenge
The founder of DataDx had a great idea that was based on her understanding of why some medical practices flourish and others fail. Based on her experience, it was all about the data. She pulled together a team to create a dashboard that would help clinics and hospitals “harness their numbers” to ensure steady and strategic growth. The challenge was bringing this new product to market as quickly as possible. The technology had to work, but the story had to sell, and the team had to be invested. That’s when the founder knew to bring us in.

Result
The company has more than tripled in size and is on a path to an IPO. The growth is explosive and the team is galvanized. The future looks very promising.

Our process in action.

Making sure the team had a full grasp of their singular purpose was Job Number 1. To start our engagement, we led the team through a two-part leadership workshop where we explored business issues and branding aspirations. The team coalesced around a brand architecture that they all felt invested in.

With a solid brand platform in place, it was time to initiate the execution phase. Time was of the essence (as it always is with start-ups), so we rolled up our sleeves with the internal marketing team to create a new website, tradeshow banners, a sales toolkit, investor pitch decks, and many other important marketing materials.

The CEO invited us back into the fold to help the company re-invigorate their culture. This workshop brought together team members, many of whom had never met each other. It was an opportunity to re-forge important relationships and lay the groundwork for new connections. With this new cultural foundation in place, the company is on its way to pursuing big goals, including an eventual IPO.

Brand Architecture. In an immersive environment, we helped the team land on a “Game On” brand architecture that energized everyone and helped all understand both the challenges and opportunities at hand.

 

Logo Development. The logo system was generated in a collaborative environment, with all stakeholders having the chance to weigh in. The result? A clean, simple identity system that team members feel invested in.

Corporate Website. For a start-up company that’s a SaaS model, the website is everything. We crafted a site that demonstrated to clinic owners “we get where you’re coming from” — making a sophisticated solution feel approachable.

 
 

Dashboard UX Strategy. To tie in a human message with important metrics, we collaborated with the coding team to ensure the dashboard showed the information in a way that was simple, intuitive, and engaging.
